About Our Coaches

Finding the ideal coach is an important process for parents of junior golfers. U.S. Kids Golf is proud to associate itself with these distinguished professionals and recommends them to all young golfers.

U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach

U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coaches are experts in teaching golf to kids ages 12 and under. Certified Coaches make learning fun by using game-based teaching methods and playing from scaled yardages on the golf course. Every Certified Coach has participated in day-long, in person training while also earning accreditation as Second-Goal Coach from the Positive Coaching Alliance.

 

U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach Level 2

Certified Coaches may seek to participate in more immersive, hands-on training in order to achieve Level 2 status. Held over four days at the U.S. Kids Golf Academy at our Foundation’s Longleaf Golf & Family Club in Southern Pines, NC. coaches are provided best practices learned at our “Living Laboratory” at Longleaf as well as from our network of 1,500+ coaches from around the world.

 

U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Coach

The Top 50 Kids Coach Award is an annual award which honors elite professionals who have dedicated their careers to developing junior golf in their communities and who are known for their overall excellence and commitment to serving youth. These experienced individuals have committed themselves to help kids develop a love for the game of golf that lasts well beyond their junior days.

 

U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Coach

When selected as a Top 50 Kids Coach for the third time, that individual earns the distinction of becoming a Master Kids Coach. This Award has been presented since 2008, and honors instructors for their ongoing efforts in growing the game of golf among kids. Being named a Master Kids Coach is the highest honor an instructor can receive from U.S. Kids Golf. There are 182 coaches who have received this honor.
