World Championship
PINEHURST. It all began back in 2000 at Jekyll Island, GA, the site of our first ever World Championship. After a short stint in Williamsburg, VA, the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation sought out a new venue worthy of hosting the momentous tournament. The result-- all roads lead to Pinehurst, NC-- The Cradle of American Golf. 2015 marked the 10-year anniversary of our pinnacle World Championship in the storied Pinehurst area.
Memories are made here with old friends, new friends, your caddie, and your family. Golf is played at world-class venues against world-class competition. And you will leave tired, proud, and filled with anticipation for next year's tournament.
The World Championship is the world’s largest and most prestigious event for kids ages 12 and under. The full-length documentary The Short Game was filmed during the 2012 World Championship, and this year the field featured more than 1450 participants from 47 states and 51 countries.
This is the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship.
