Certified Coaches FAQs
What is a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach?
A U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach is recognized as an expert in teaching golf to kids ages 12 and under. Each coach uses an established curriculum that features game-based learning methods and plays on a scaled golf course.
Why is U.S. Kids Golf offering this program?
U.S. Kids Golf finds it important to help golf professionals do a better job in instructing junior golfers so they may improve their programs and the experience of the juniors who are participating.
Also, by training and certifying those who complete the program, we will be providing an online resource for parents/junior golfers seeking to find quality coaches in their geographic area.
Is the Certified Coach program-related in any way to the Top 50 Kids Teachers or Master Kids Teachers?
No. Many Top 50 Kids Teachers have signed up for Certified Coach seminars as they seek to improve their knowledge in the areas covered and enhance the programs they offer. The Top 50 Kids Teachers lists will continue independently from the Certified Coach program.
