Mike McFaul, PGA here. I have been a PGA Member since 1990 at various Clubs like The Lakes CC in Palm Desert, The Riviera CC in Pacific Palisades, Valencia CC and Annandale CC. All those are great places to be and provided me with some great memories, but the best experiences I have had above and beyond them is my current position at the First Tee - Coachella Valley. First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
My goal as the Competitive Activities Director is simple - to introduce the golf course to all kids so they can make golf whatever they want in their lives. The earlier the better.
