AJGA Performance Based Entry

With top finishes at U.S. Kids Golf major tournaments, players can earn Performance Based Entry status with the American Junior Golf Association. Please note that PBE status will be awarded only if the fields meet the requirements listed below.

2014 World Championship*

Boys 11 (Top 3): 2 performance stars
Boys 12 (Top 5): 2 performance stars
Girls 11 (Champion): 2 performance stars
Girls 12 (Top 3): 2 performance stars

2014 Teen World Championship*

Boys 13, 14 (Top 5): 2 performance stars
Boys 15-18 (Champion): 4 performance stars
Boys 15-18 (Top 5): 1 performance star
Girls 13, 14 (Champion): 2 performance stars
Girls 15-18 (Champion): 4 performance stars
Girls 15-18 (Top 3): 1 performance star

2014 European Championship*

Boys 11, 12 (Top 3): 2 performance stars
Boys 13, 14 (Top 5): 2 performance stars
Boys 15-18 (Champion): 4 performance stars
Girls 11, 12, 13, 14 (Champion): 2 performance stars
Girls 15-18 (Champion): 4 performance stars

2014 Regional Championships*

Boys 11, 12, 13-14 (Champion): 2 performance stars
Girls 12, 13-14 (Champion): 2 performance stars

*Fields need at least 40 boys (15-18 age division), 20 boys (each younger division), 12 girls (15-18 age division), or 6 girls (each younger division) in order to receive PBE status. Additionally, for events where the Champion earns 4 performance stars, if the tournament field has at least 55 boys (15-18 age division) or 18 girls (15-18 age division), the AJGA will award 1 performance star to the top 10% of the field.

Note: If older and younger divisions play from the same yardage, the AJGA will combine the divisions and look at the overall results when awarding PBE status.

Golf Coaches Association of America

The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) was established in 1958 and is located in Norman, OK. The GCAA is a non-profit organization and is the professional association of men’s collegiate golf coaches. Through its established events and programs, the GCAA maintains a goal of increasing awareness and the status of men’s golf. There are over 750 members in the GCAA representing all three NCAA divisions as well as NAIA and NJCAA.
