Lodging Information

Jekyll Island Golf Club will host a U.S. Kids Golf Regional Championship for the 23rd consecutive year. Since 2004, it has been home to our oldest Regional Championship—the Jekyll Island Cup—and it also served as the original site of the World Championship from 2000 to 2003. Each year, families return to Jekyll Island to reconnect with friends, compete in a premier championship event, and enjoy everything the island has to offer. Off the course, visitors can explore more than 20 miles of bike trails, go paddleboarding or kayaking, and visit the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.

The tournament will be contested across Jekyll's three courses: Pine Lakes, Indian Mound, and the newly renovated Great Dunes Course. Jekyll features newly renovated practice putting greens, short-game area, and practice range. Please see the Registration Information page for course assignments and estimated tee times.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info

The Tournament Age Date for the 2026 Jekyll Island Cup is March 15, 2026. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from June 16, 2026 through June 15, 2027. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.

Rankings & AJGA PBE

The Jekyll Island Cup is ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard and eligible for AJGA PBE Stars. All Boys and Girls 11 & up will be eligible for both Junior Golf Scoreboard and AJGA PBE Stars.

Official Practice Round

Please Note: The Official Practice Round Fee for Friday, March 27th is included in your entry fee. You will be able to book your tee time for the Official Practice Round online, 30 days prior to the event. The online booking link will be made available here and emailed out to all players. Please do not call the pro shop to book times for Friday, March 27th. Players will still be able to book times any day prior to Friday by calling Jekyll Island Golf Club.
