Cancellation Policy
The following policy applies to all U.S. Kids Golf Tournament Players Association events.
Submitting a Cancellation Request
All cancellations must be submitted via email to tournaments@uskidsgolf.com. No exceptions will be made.
Email Subject: Tournament Cancellation
All cancellation requests must include the following information:
- Order Number
- Participant’s Name
- Local Tour (if applicable)
- Event Location
- Event Date
- Reason for Cancellation
Refund Policy
Local Tours, State Invitationals
- The $50 registration fee for the Local Tour is nonrefundable.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted five days prior to the event the player wishes to withdraw from. All requests submitted before the cancellation deadline will receive a refund of the tournament cost minus a $15 processing fee. If a participant withdraws from an event after the cancellation deadline has passed, the player will not receive a refund.
Regional Championships, World Championship, Teen World Championship, European Championship
- All cancellation requests submitted outside of eight weeks from the first round of the Championship will receive the entry fee minus $50.
- All cancellation requests submitted outside of four weeks from the first round of the Championship will receive the entry fee minus $125.
- All cancellation requests submitted inside four weeks from the first round of the Championship will not receive a refund.
Medical/Emergency Policy
- If the Tournament Players Association is notified by 11:59 p.m. ET five days prior to the event, the player will receive a refund of the tournament cost minus a $15 processing fee.
- If the Tournament Players Association is notified less than five days before the event, the player will receive a coupon code valued at the tournament cost minus a $15 processing fee. The coupon may be used for any future U.S. Kids Golf tournament.
- In order for a refund or coupon code to be issued, documentation of medical or family emergency must be faxed/emailed to the Tournament Players Association no later than one week after the first round of the tournament.
Event cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled
- Entry fees from cancelled tournaments are not transferred to future events.
- Registration fees for events postponed due to inclement weather will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled date. If the event is not rescheduled or you are not able to attend the rescheduled date, a full refund will be posted to your credit card. Please contact U.S. Kids Golf if you are not able to attend the rescheduled date.
Failure to follow cancellation procedure
- If you fail to submit a cancellation request two or more times, you will be subject to suspension of playing in any Regional Championship, International Championship or World Championship for the period of one year.
- Once an event begins, withdrawal for any reason other than illness, injury or family emergency may result in suspension of playing in any Regional, International, or World Championship for the period of one year.
