Teen World Championship 2015

Towering pines, the iconic Payne Stewart statue, and four championship courses await more than 500 of the game's top teenagers. Players from 34 countries will compete on courses that have been called legendary, visually enthralling, challenging, and yet fun to play. Pinehurst Resort has hosted the Teen World Championship since 2006, and this year six more players will hoist trophies at a venue that has crowned some of golf's greatest champions.

Most of the players have made their mark at the World Championship and are back to challenge themselves on a different stage. Friends and family enjoy coming back to play as teens because of the environment that Pinehurst provides.

Schedule of Events

The Teen World Championship commences on Wednesday, July 22 with registration, an official practice round and skills challenge. There are 3 official rounds of play from Thursday - Saturday, and the Van Horn Cup Teen World Championship is on the final day of the event, Sunday, July 26. 

Van Horn Cup Teen

The Van Horn Cup Teen World Championship event is a 2 v 2, best ball format on the final day of the Teen World Championship. In 2014, Team USA birdied the final two holes in the final match to win 5-4 and complete a thrilling comeback victory on Pinehurst No. 4

Skills Challenge

The Skills Challenge will take place on the first day of the Teen World Championship, Wednesday, July 22. Players will compete in featured games such as Thistle Dhu, Long Drive, Glass Break, Chip Tac Toe, and more.
