AJGA PBE Status

AJGA Performance Based Entry Stars via Priority Status

American Junior Golf Association (AGJA) offers two pathways for U.S. Kids Golf (USK) players to earn Performance-Based Entry (PBE) “Performance Stars” for its events. Here’s how it works:

Pathway 1: Through Priority Status at the end of each year
At the end of 2026, if a USK player has earned Levels 12 or higher Priority Status, whether through any Local Tour season (winter, spring, summer, fall), or any U.S. Kids event worldwide, that player will earn 4 Performance Stars for AJGA entry in 2027.

These 4 PBE Performance Stars from Pathway 1 are:

• Awarded to your AJGA account* by February 2027
• Only valid for use during 2027
• Only for players that turn age 12 on or before August 31, 2027, and may not turn age 20 at any point during 2027

Pathway 2: Through Top Finishes at PBE-Eligible U.S. Kids events
Players age 11 or older can earn PBE Performance Stars from the following U.S. Kids events:

• World and World Teen Championships
• European Championships
• U.S. Regional Championships
• Canadian Invitational
• Teen Series
• Girls Invitationals
• State Invitationals

These PBE Performance Stars from Pathway 2 are:

• Awarded to your AJGA account* within two weeks after the event
• Valid for the remainder of 2026 and all of 2027
• Only valid for entry when the player reaches 12 or has not yet reached age 20
• Can be accrued even if you are not an active AJGA member

Players who earn PBE Performance Stars but are not AJGA members will be contacted by the AJGA to set up an account.
