Tournament Information
Registration
Players with Priority Status Level Lifetime-Level 4 that reside in the state in which the event is being held will receive the first opportunity to register for their respective State Invitational. The event will then be opened to Priority Status players with Level Lifetime-Level 4 from outside the event's respective state. Certain events that represent multiple states (i.e. the Midwest State Invitational) will open first to all states that are represented by that region.
Invitations will only go to players who have status through the first round of the event. Please note that receiving an invitation does not guarantee a player’s spot, as entries into all events are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Should you not receive the invitation at the proper time, please email our customer service team.
Cost
The cost of each tournament can be found on the event's Registration Information page.
Rules and Regulations
Visit our Rules and Regulations page to learn more from our State Invitational Hard Card.
Waiting List
If an eligible player attempts to join a State Invitational that has reached its capacity in the player's respective age group, the player will be placed on a waitlist. If a player in the field withdraws, the first player on the waitlist for that age group will be emailed an invitation to the event, and have a limited time to accept or decline the invite. Players who have been waitlisted may see their position on the waitlist by logging into their U.S. Kids Golf Tournament account, and selecting "Tournament Registrations".
Open Application
During the Open Application period, all persons without Priority Status may enter to join State Invitational events. Open Applications will be reviewed in the run-up to the Championship, and players will receive either an acceptance or a denial as the event approaches.
To fill out an Open Application, select the event you would like to play on our State Invitational Schedule. The Open Application can be found under each event's Registration Information subpage.
Caddies
U.S. Kids Golf encourages all players to have a parent, guardian, or family member caddie for them to enhance the experience of playing in our events. All players 8 years old and younger must be accompanied by someone 15 years old or older to serve as their caddie. Caddying provides players and caddies the opportunity to spend hours of uninterrupted time together, creating priceless memories.
Caddie Bibs
Caddie bib names must be ordered at the time of event registration and the cost is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the event, your bib and name can be mailed to you after the completion of the tournament. All caddie bibs and names will be available for pickup at event registration. Players that register during late registration will not have an opportunity to order a name but will receive a caddie bib at player registration.
Sibling Policy
Players that have not qualified for a State Invitational, but have Priority Status Level Lifetime-Level 4, and have a sibling that is invited and registered, may request a Sibling Exemption. Click here to read more about our sibling policy. Please note: The player requesting the sibling exemption must have at least Priority 4 status to qualify.
