Priority Status
Click here for Priority Status Awards - As of November 8, 2024
When players participate in U.S. Kids Golf events, they have the opportunity to earn Priority Status. This qualification determines when players receive invitations for Multi-Day Events. There are 15 levels that can be earned through score or order of finish.
Status by Score
- For Local Tours, take the two (2) lowest scores totaled within the same season on the same Local Tour.
- Participants must play four (4) Local Tour events within a season on the same Local Tour to earn Priority Status.
- For Multi-Day Events, take the two (2) lowest scores totaled within the same event.
Status by Order of Finish
- Two (2) lowest scores combined must be 180/90 or lower.
- Participants must play four (4) Local Tour events within a season on the same Local Tour to earn Priority Status.
- Order of finish is for a player position at the end of the season, not individual events.
Details about Status
- Tournament Age Date determines a player’s age group and if invitations will be received for a particular event.
- Tournament Age Date is listed on the homepage of every event.
- Click the Registration Information page to view the invitation schedule for any event.
- For a player to be eligible for a Multi-Day Event, the player's Priority Status must run through the Tournament Age Date of that event.
- After a Local Tour season or Multi-Day Event concludes, Priority Status will begin three months after the Tournament Age Date and last for one year.
- Pending Status refers to the three months between the Tournament Age Date and when Priority Status begins.
- Pending Status allows families time to prepare how to best use their full year of Priority Status.
- Priority Status runs for one year, regardless of when it is earned.
- If multiple levels of Priority Status are obtained in one event, the higher Status takes effect.
- Players can have multiple levels of Priority Status from different events, each with its expiration date.

AJGA Performance Based Entry Stars
U.S. Kids Golf tournament players, ages 12 to 18, who attain at least one of the top four Priority Status levels (Levels 12-14 or Lifetime), will receive AJGA Performance Based Entry (PBE) Stars for the following AJGA season. These Stars will be awarded at the beginning of each year and are valid for that calendar year only.
To receive AJGA Performance Stars for Priority Status earned in 2024, a player must reach age 12 by June 1st, 2025, and be 18 or younger on January 1st, 2025.
Players must earn their qualifying U.S. Kids Priority Status at events during the 2024 calendar year (2024 multi-day events, Winter 2023 Local Tours, and Spring/Summer/Fall 2024 Local Tours). Eligible players will receive four PBE Stars to use in 2025.
Priority Status-based PBE Stars are in addition to the PBE Stars players currently earn for top finishes in the U.S. Kids Golf Multi-Day Events.
