Click here for your Status as of 5.30.2023
The way you earn Priority Status is changing!
When your young player participates in U.S. Kids Golf events, they have the opportunity to earn Priority Status. This qualification determines when players receive invitations for Multi-Day Events*.
*These include Girls Invitationals, State Invitationals, Teen Series, Regional Championships, International Championships, European Championship, and World Championships.
- There are 13 levels of Priority Status, with Lifetime Status being the highest
- The twelve additional levels are numerically ranked: Level 12 (Higher) to Level 1 (Lowest)
- Players may gain Status by Score OR by Order of Finish
- If multiple levels of Status are obtained in one event, the higher Status takes effect
- For a player to be eligible for a Multi-Day Event, Status must run through the 1st round of said event
- Player's Status expires after one year
- Players can have multiple levels of Status, each level with its own expiration date
- After the conclusion of a Local Tour season or Multi-Day Event, Status will be awarded within 1-2 weeks

*The scoring requirement of 9-hole players is half of the scores listed above (i.e. 9-hole players must have two (2) individual scores of 45 or lower to get Level 4)
**Rounds shortened for any reason (weather, darkness, etc.) will not count towards the scoring requirement. However, players can still earn Status via their order of finish.
Local Tours
- The scoring requirement must be met two (2) times within the same Local Tour season
- Must play in four (4) events or more on the same Local Tour within the same season
2 & 3 Day Events

Local Tours

A Note Regarding Qualifying for the World Championships
Please note that the new deadline to earn Priority Status towards the World Championships via Multi-Day Events (including Girls Invitationals, State Invitationals, Regionals, International Championships, and Teen Series) will now be May 31 of each year. Accordingly, earning Status eligibility for the 2023 World Championships will begin June 1, 2022, and conclude May 31, 2023.
Status earned through Local Tours will remain unchanged, and players competing in 2023 Spring Local Tours are eligible to earn Status to this year’s World Championships, regardless of the final date of their tour. The Summer Local Tour Season each year will begin the qualifying cycle for the next year's World Championships.
AJGA Performance Based Entry Stars
U.S. Kids Golf tournament players, ages 12 to 18, who attain at least one of the top three levels (Levels 11, 12, or Lifetime), will receive AJGA Performance Based Entry (PBE) Stars for the following AJGA season. These Stars will be awarded at the beginning of each year and are valid for that calendar year only.
To receive AJGA Performance Stars for Status earned in 2022, a player must reach age 12 by June 1st, 2023, and 18 or younger on January 1st, 2023.
Players whose Status features a 2022 start date (2022 multi-day events, Winter 2021 Local Tours, and Spring/Summer/Fall 2022 Local Tours) will receive four PBE Stars to use in 2023. Status-based PBE Stars are in addition to the PBE Stars players currently earn for top finishes in U.S. Kids Golf Championship events.
