Registration Information for Palm Springs Open 2018
Qualified players will be unlocked and eligible to register at 3:00pm EST on the corresponding dates below. An invitation with additional information will accompany the event unlock. Please note that receiving an invitation does not guarantee a player’s spot, as entries into all events are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. General Registration closes on September 10th, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET. A player's age on August 31, 2018 will determine his/her age group for the duration of the event.
Cost
$249 for 9-hole players and $299 for 18-hole players (includes tournament rounds, practice range access, tee gifts, family night and awards). The official practice round is not included in the entry fee.
*Open Application
During the Open Application period, all persons that have met the scoring requirement may apply to enter. If you do not have Priority Status but would like to request entry, please submit an application for your player. The Open Application will be reviewed starting July 17th.
**Late Registration
During the late registration period, an additional $15 will be added to the registration fee. Players that sign up during the late registration period will not receive an opportunity to purchase a last name for their caddie bib and will be listed at the end of their age group, instead of alphabetically, on the scoreboard. All late registrants should visit the event homepage to view all important player information.
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds (not included in entry fee) may be scheduled after July 1st by contacting the Mission Hills Resort at (760) 328-3198, option 2.
Junior Golf Scoreboard
U.S. Kids Golf reports scores from eligible age groups to Junior Golf Scoreboard. To be eligible, an age group must complete 36 holes from a distance equal to or longer than the course’s shortest rated tee, be at least 4,500 yards, and have 5 or more players. If a group has less than 5 players, two age groups’ yardages will be combined and submitted together as one age group.
Boys 13-14, Boys 12, Boys 11, Girls 13-14, Girls 12, and Girls 11 are eligible for Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking at the 2018 Palm Springs Open.
Course Assignments by Age
In an effort to help with potential warm temperatures, tee time ranges for 18-holers will alternate from Round 1 to Round 2. Please pay special attention to the estimated tee times below. All times are weather permitting.
