Event Information

U.S. Kids Golf is excited to host the 3rd Annual Malaysian Championship, set to be played at the outstanding Tasik Puteri Golf and Country Club. Located in Rawang, Selangor—just north of Kuala Lumpur—this venue offers a picturesque and welcoming championship setting. The beautifully maintained course is renowned for its scenic lakes, rolling terrain, and thoughtfully designed holes.

The Malaysian Championship offers young golfers the opportunity to compete in a multi-day International Partner event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info

The 2026 Malaysian Championship Tournament Age Date is March 31, 2026. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.

Junior Golf Scoreboard & WAGR

The Malaysian Championship is a 3-day event.

• Junior Golf Scoreboard recognizes it as a ranked event. Boys 12 and up and Girls 13-14 and up will be eligible if all the requirements are met.
• World Amateur Golf Ranking will recognize it as a ranked event for Boys and Girls 13-18.
