South American Championship 2023

2024 Dates: November 1-3, 2024

The 5th annual U.S. Kids Golf South American Championship will take place in the heart of Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro, considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. All 18-hole players will have the opportunity to play the famous Olympic Golf Course. Gil Hanse specifically designed the course to host the 2016 Olympic Games and has tested the best golfers in the world. Our second host course is Itanhangá Golf Club. Our 9-hole players will enjoy the 27-hole complex that has hosted European Tour and LPGA events. It will be a great combination for families mixing great golf and landscape. The beginning of the summer will be perfect for enjoying the beautiful beaches of Barra da Tijuca where the courses are located.

The South American Championship offers young golfers aged 5-18 the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.
