Event Information

This December, U.S. Kids Golf is proud to present the 4th annual Australian Challenge in the Melbourne Sandbelt, renowned worldwide among golfing enthusiasts. Two picturesque golf courses will play host this year, the first round will be played at Southern Golf Club and the second round will be played at Spring Valley Golf Club.

Both courses are located in the picturesque setting of Melbourne's southeastern suburbs. Southern Golf Club is celebrated for its championship course designed to challenge and delight golfers of all skill levels. This esteemed club features meticulously manicured fairways, strategically placed hazards, and greens that offer excitement and strategic play. Nestled amidst tranquil surroundings with native vegetation and scenic vistas, the Southern Golf Club provides a serene escape for golf enthusiasts. Spring Valley Golf Club, is a sanctuary for golf enthusiasts seeking tranquility. This prestigious club boasts an 18-hole championship course renowned for its lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and subtly undulating greens that demand precision and strategy from players of all levels. Surrounded by native Australian flora and meticulously maintained landscapes, Spring Valley offers not only a superb golfing experience but also a serene escape from the bustling city.

The Australian Challenge offers young golfers, aged 5-18, the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info

The Tournament Age Date for the 2024 Australian Challenge is November 30, 2024. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from March 1, 2025, through February 28, 2026. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.
