Malaysian Championship 2025

Event Information
U.S. Kids Golf is excited for the 2nd annual Malaysian Championship. The event will be played at the excellent Glenmarie Golf and Country Club. Located close to the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Glenmarie Golf and Country Club is known as a haven for leisure golfing and hosting international golf tournaments, such as the acclaimed EurAsia Cup. The facility boasts 36 holes of world-class golf, the event will be contested on the Garden Course. The Garden Course is a lush resort course covered in verdant greenery and interspersed with serene waterways. As you make your way across the course, you might even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. In short, this is one of the most beautiful courses to play golf near Kuala Lumpur.
The Malaysian Championship offers young golfers the opportunity to compete in a multi-day International Partner event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info
The 2025 Malaysian Championship Tournament Age Date is March 31, 2025. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.
Junior Golf Scoreboard & WAGR
The Malaysian Championship is a 3-day event.
- Junior Golf Scoreboard recognizes it as a ranked event. Boys 11 and up and Girls 13-14 and up will be eligible if all the requirements are met.
- World Amateur Golf Ranking will recognize it as a ranked event for Boys and Girls 15-18.
