South American Championship 2021

2022 Dates: 12-14 November, 2022

The 3rd annual U.S. Kids Golf South American Championship will take place at the heart of Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro. Considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. All players will have the opportunity to play the famous Olympic Golf Course. The course was specifically designed by Gil Hanse to host the 2016 Olympic Games and has tested the best golfers in the world.

The South American Championship offers young golfers aged 5-18 the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Junior Golf Scoreboard

U.S. Kids Golf will report scores  to Junior Golf Scoreboard for Boys 11 and older and Girls 12 and older provided the yardage played is greater than 4500 yards and not shorter than the forward most USGA rated tees.

Scores from Boys & Girls ages 15-18 will be reported to the R&A’s World Amateur Golf Ranking.
