Event Information
U.S. Kids Golf is excited to be hosting the New Zealand Championship (formerly the New Zealand Open) for the third time. The event will take place at the beautiful Windross Farms Golf Course. This championship course is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring rolling fairways, challenging bunkers, and immaculate greens that cater to golfers of all abilities. Surrounded by picturesque farmland and native vegetation, Windross Farm provides a tranquil escape just outside the bustling city.
The New Zealand Championship offers young golfers the opportunity to compete in a multi-day International Championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info
The Tournament Age Date for the New Zealand Championship is December 15, 2024. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from March 16, 2025, through March 15, 2026. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.

The New Zealand Championship is a 2-day event and Junior Golf Scoreboard will recognize it as a ranked event
