Event Information
This September, Toowoomba Golf Club, will play host to the 7th Australian Open. Nestled in the scenic suburb of Middle Ridge, Toowoomba Golf Club is Queensland’s second-oldest golf club, established in 1896. Perched on the escarpment of the Great Dividing Range, the club offers panoramic views and a temperate climate, making it a premier golfing destination.
The Australian Open offers young golfers the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info
The Tournament Age Date for the 2025 Australian Open is September 15, 2025. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from December 16, 2025, through December 15, 2026. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.
Junior Golf Scoreboard
The Australian Open is a 2-day event
- Junior Golf Scoreboard recognizes it as a ranked event. Boys 12 and up and Girls 15-18 will be eligible if all the requirements are met.
