Event Information
U.S. Kids Golf is excited to announce the inaugural Spanish Open, which will be held at the superb Alto Club (formerly Almenara Golf Club). Nestled along Spain’s picturesque southern coast, the Alto Club offers a premium golf and leisure experience in one of the country’s most sought-after destinations. Surrounded by lush gardens, rolling fairways, and panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the club combines world-class amenities with traditional Spanish charm, creating the perfect setting for this exciting new championship.
The Spanish Open offers young golfers the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info
The Tournament Age Date for the 2025 Spanish Open is November 15, 2025. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from February 16, 2026 through February 15, 2027. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.
Junior Golf Scoreboard & WAGR
The Spanish Open is a 3-day event
- Junior Golf Scoreboard recognizes it as a ranked event. Boys 12 and up and Girls 13 and up will be eligible if all the requirements are met.
- World Amateur Golf Ranking will recognize it as a ranked event for Boys and Girls 13-18.
