Age Groups and Yardages

The grids below outline the age groups and approximate yardages played at the Local Tours, World Championship and World Teen Championship. For all other multi-day events, the age groups and approximate yardages will be posted on the event page.

The yardages listed for U.S. Kids Golf events are based on the Longleaf Tee System. The Longleaf Tee System is a joint initiative of the American Society of Golf Course Architects Foundation and the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation to help all golfers play from the correct yardages, leading to greater enjoyment in the game.

By using data from our U.S. Kids Golf Academy at our home facility of Longleaf Golf & Family Club in Southern Pines, NC, we have been able to scale each golf course to provide a fair and enjoyable test for every player on every hole.
