China Championship 2025

Event Information

U.S. Kids Golf is excited to announce the inaugural China Championship. Hosted by the renowned PGA An Ying Golf Club - Forest Course (formerly Lanhai International Golf Club) in Shanghai, China, and designed by Jack Nicklaus. PGA An Ying Golf Club is one of the only PGA of America-branded golf courses outside of America. The golf course and its 30,000-square-foot Tuscan clubhouse are regularly included among the top 100 courses in Asia. The China Championship is an opportunity for players and families to experience the dynamic city of Shanghai and compete on a renowned golf course that has hosted many top-level tournaments.

The China Championship offers young golfers the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf Major Championships, including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships.

Tournament Age Date & Priority Status Info

The 2025 China Championship Tournament Age Date is March 15, 2025. This will determine a player's age group for the duration of the event. Priority Status earned from this event will be active from June 16, 2025 through June 15, 2026. For more information, visit our Priority Status homepage.

Junior Golf Scoreboard & WAGR

The China Championship is a 3-day event

• Junior Golf Scoreboard recognizes it as a ranked event. Boys 12 and up and Girls 15-18 and up will be eligible if all the requirements are met.
• World Amateur Golf Ranking will recognize it as a ranked event for Boys and Girls 15-18 if all the requirements are met.
