Holiday Classic Parent/Child 2024

The Holiday Classic Parent/Child is a chance for parents to team up with their young player for a fun day of golf on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

Registration: Registration information will be sent out to all players that are registered for the Holiday Classic on Thursday, October 17th with registration opening on Friday, October 18th at 1 p.m. EST. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Adult partners must be at least 18 years old and cannot compete with more than one junior golfer.

Cost: $185 per team. Includes: 9-hole green fees, cart fees, range balls, tee gifts and awards.

Start Time: Tee times will go from 12 - 2 pm and will be posted 2 days prior to the event.

Format: Modified scramble - Only parents will tee off on 3 designated holes, only kids will tee off on 3 designated holes, and there will be 3 holes in which both players will tee off and select the best tee shot. Following the tee shot, competitors will scramble for the remainder of the hole. Hole designations will be listed on the event's info sheet/scorecard.

Awards: Trophies will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each age group.

Tiebreaker: U.S. Kids Golf Scorecard Playoff will be used to break ties for all awards. Winner will be determined on the basis of the team score on the last nine holes, last six holes, last three holes and finally the last hole. If the teams are still tied, continue backward from the last hole until a winner is determined. (The “last nine holes, last six holes, etc.” is considered to be 10-18, 13-18, etc.)
